Brazilian football defender Pinheiro (born in 1932) was called the “records man of self-goals”. Only in one season of national league he scored against his own team 10 goals! Afetr it Pinheiro was moved to attack. In the first match, "records man" again managed to hit his own goal. Once, when footballer had a birthday teammates offered him a compass. On the reverse side of it was engraved: "Remember, your enemy is on the other side!"
Although among other such “self-goal records men” we can see Billy Ballmer of Everton. At the beginning of the XXth century, he scored 8 goals during a one match. Unfortunately, all of these goals were scored in his own team gate. In more 300 appearances, he scored only one goal in favor of the right of his team - and only with a penalty in 1899".
In modern soccer competitions are also known many soccerers which “played” against their teams. One of them is Richard Dunne, that is named “records man of Premier League for own goal” (9 times in his career!).
And the last hero of our story is a Russian sport man Serghey Fokin. He has a reputation of “self-goals collector”. The most remarkable is the game of Champions League 1992-1993, between "Rangers" and CSKA (1:0). Then he blocked repeatedly enemy`s shot, but the ball hit his leg and flew ricocheted into his own net (the goal was recorded on account of Scot Barry Ferguson).
